Get to Know Me

I am a proud wife to the best, most caring and loving husband. We have a son and a daughter, who are the cutest, craziest and sweetest little kiddos! I may be biased… but they really ARE the best!

I live in Arizona, but I am originally from Saskatchewan Canada, where my whole family still lives! In 2008, I received a basketball scholarship to Grand Canyon University and THAT is what brought me all the way down to Phoenix. I then met my husband who was on the Lacrosse team at the time,  and we eventually got married in 2012 after we graduated with a B.S. in Marketing.

Real Estate is where my degree took me right after university, and I have worked in real estate since 2012.

Fitness and becoming my best self is my passion, along side being a wife and mom. I love how it makes me feel so happy and healthy! I love staying fit for my family. Which has led me to study to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer! I am so excited for where this will take me. My plans are to start coaching clients online, and come out with an e-book!

I am also a JESSIE’S GIRL Ambassador, and I LOVE IT. If you aren’t a Jessie’s Girl yet, you best become one today! The programs are absolutely amazing, because she shows you how to FUEL your body and how to lift heavy. Along side buying an e-book you get to join the private Facebook group of almost 8000 strong, dedicated women! When I bought her program, Muscle Building 2, I had NO idea it would change my life. She (and all the wonderful women in the group) have helped show me what I am capable of, and find that self-love again. I used to restrict myself to 1300 calories  and OVER exercise. I had a horribly negative relationship with food. I have found confidence within myself that I never could have imagined. It’s such an amazing, life-changing group to be apart of.

I decided to start this blog to maybe share with you all how I manage to balance my life, my fitness AND my family a little better (all while eating yummy, hearty foods)!

Finding balance to these things has really shown me how to appreciate what my body is capable of, and how to love myself again!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again!
